Moving and changing schools is hard on kids. Parents/adults tend to focus on the monetary concerns, the stress of paperwork, and everything else involved in relocating. Kids, typically are more focused on the emotional aspect. Moving schools and making new friends can have them feeling afraid, sad, angry. All of these reactions are okay, but it’s important to note that moving frequently or during certain ages may lead to issues with school, emotional regulation and social skills.
